mit Entsetzen habe ich erfahren, dass die von der Vertretung des Landes Baden-Württemberg bei der EU mitorganisierte Tagung „Advancing with the Restoration Agenda“ am 27. März 2012 von der Rosia Montana Gold Corporation (RMGC) gesponsort werden soll.
Dringend – Rosia Montana
Der bereits 14 Jahre anhaltende Kampf gegen den geplanten größten Gold-Tagebau in Europa hat an Dramatik zugenommen. Jüngst erteilte das Kulturministerium unter Hunor Kelemen (zugleich Vorsitzender des Koalitionspartners UDMR/ RMDSz) der Rosia Montana Gold Corporation eine Genehmigung zur „Sicherung historischer Stätten“. Dies ist allerdings nicht weniger als ein großer Schritt hin zur Zyanidflutung des Ortes…

in mod irevocabil recursul declarat de Consiliul Judetean Alba si Rosia
Montana Gold Corporation impotriva sentintei Tribunalului Cluj (2)^ prin
care s-a anulat certificatul de urbanism Nr. 78/ 26.04.2006^ (3).
Certificatul a fost eliberat de Consiliul Judetean Alba pe seama Rosia
Montana Gold Corporation (RMGC) pentru continuarea procedurii de
evaluare impactului asupra mediului (EIM). Actiunea in instanta a fost
promovata de catre Centrul Independent pentru Dezvoltarea Resurselor de
Mediu *(CIDRM)*^* * (4). Alburnus Maior a fost intervenient in acest caz.

ROSIA MONTANA: Hungary’s Green Movement and Members of the European Parliament protest against the Rosia Montana mine development
Rosia Montana/Romania; 15. March 2006 – Approximately 700 representatives of 240 Hungarian environmental organisations yesterday sent an open letter to Romania’s minister for the Environment in protest against the Rosia Montana gold mine proposal. This comes at a time when members of the European Parliament are reiterating their concerns regarding the development of the controversial gold mine proposal.

ROSIA MONTANA: Studie zu Ivestmentrisiken veröffentlicht
Alburnus Maior hat heute, gemeinsam mit elf weiteren rumänischen und internationalen NGOs, eine Studie zu den Goldtagebauplänen der Rosia Montana Gold Corporation vorgelegt. ROSIA MONTANA: „Sie werden das Gold nehmen und Zyanid zurücklassen“ – Premier Nastase äußert sich ablehnend zum RMGC-Projekt
Alburnus Maior hat eine Pressemitteilung zu jüngsten Äußerungen des rumänischen Premierministers, Adrian Nastase, herausgegeben. Nastase erklärte in einem Interview mit Alpha TV, daß der Goldabbau nichts zum Abbau der Armut im Lande beitragen würde. Hingegen würde das Gold abgebaut und dafür Zynaid zurückbleiben. Es folgt die Pressemitteilung im englischen Wortlaut.
ROSIA MONTANA: Die RMGC soll Strafe zahlen (AM Presserklärung)
Weil die Rosia Montana Gold Corporation offensichtlich ohne Genehmigung Bohrungen und Wege anlegte, soll sie nun Strafe zahlen. In einer Presseerklärung in formiert Alburnus Maior über den Vorgang. Neueste Presseinformation von Alburnus Maior in englischer Sprache: Rosia Montana, Romania; 12. June 2004 – Speranta Ianculescu, the Romanian minister for the Environment and Miklos Persanyi, her Hungarian counterpart yesterday visited Rosia Montana. The scope of their visit was to find out whether there exists a gold mining project proposed by Rosia Montana Gold Corporation (RMGC). In particular, the delegation wished to find out more details about the operation’s current development stage.

Die Rosia Montana Gold Corporation hat eine Warnung an potentielle Investoren gegeben, berichtet der Verein Alburnus Maior in seiner jüngsten Aussendung. Dahinter wird vermutet, daß die RMGC inzwischen seriöse Risiken erkennt, daß der geplante Goldtagebau nicht produzieren wird.

ROSIA MONTANA: Drilling on RMGC’s last nerve
Rosia Montana, Romania; 16. April 2004 – As part of the procedures necessary for obtaining an environmental permit to commence 39 drillings in the Rosia Montana perimeter, Rosia Montana Gold Corporation (RMGC) yesterday afternoon organized a public consultation at the local town hall. It was attended by roughly 100 people. Members of Alburnus Maior attending the debate wore red clown noses; drawing to the illegality inherent to this puppet consultation. Given this and given the technical irregularities inherent to this proposed project, Alburnus Maior is determined to contest the environmental permit; that is if granted.
